To capture quiet, authentic moments in nature that invite curiosity, patience, and a deeper appreciation of the world around us.

My Story

Hi, I’m Ethan Scorer. I’m drawn to the raw beauty of the world around us, from the quiet majesty of a starlit sky to the fleeting grace of a wild animal in its natural home. Through my camera, I aim to capture more than just an image—I want to preserve the emotion, atmosphere, and story behind every scene.

I got my first camera when I was 15. Growing up in South Africa, I spent much of my childhood watching nature documentaries, fascinated by the wild places and creatures they showcased. That first camera opened the door to turning those dreams into something real. I’ll never forget photographing a cheetah resting in the final rays of sunlight—its belly full, its eyes content. That moment showed me how powerful photography can be in capturing something fleeting and real.

Learning through the Lens

Photography is a passion I continue to explore and grow with. I’m especially drawn to wildlife, landscapes, and astrophotography, where patience and observation are just as important as technical skill. Many of my favourite moments come from simply waiting—watching light change, stars emerge, or wildlife move naturally through their environment.

I aim to create images that feel authentic and timeless, revealing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. While photography is currently a hobby, it’s one I approach with genuine care, curiosity, and respect for the world around me.
